Five levels – from the free Reader to Partner. Each grants real, non-decorative rights: an article quota, link dofollow status, distribution across 77.lt's channels and the checkmark color next to your name. Article rules are the same for everyone: every article is judged by the same DAO council, which never sees the plan.

What each right actually means
How many articles per calendar month you can submit to the DAO council: Author 3, Pro 8, VIP 20, Partner 30. Resets at the start of the month. Every article runs the same editorial pipeline – research, correction, editing, council vote – and publishes automatically once approved.
Up to 3 external links per article (1 per domain). On the Author plan they are nofollow ugc – no search weight. From Pro, non-commercial anchors become dofollow and genuinely strengthen your site. Commercial anchors are always rel="sponsored" – protecting against Google link-scheme penalties. Computed at render time: when a membership ends every link returns to nofollow automatically.
The 77.lt Facebook page has 540,000+ followers. Pro can pitch 1 article a month, VIP 3, Partner 4; the editorial planner schedules it. VIP additionally gets 1, Partner 2 slots in the 77.lt newsletter per month.
VIP and Partner articles get an automatically generated audio version – readers can listen on their phone. Audio shows on the article and counts as extra audience.
The council reviews in order. VIP articles within 48h, Partner within 24h. Criteria and decision are identical for everyone; only the place in the queue changes.
One company account, up to 5 authors with their own profiles, a shared 30-article quota. A VAT invoice every cycle, a company profile, a “Partner content” label on articles. You add and remove authors yourself in account settings.
One checkmark next to your name everywhere – profile, comments, wall posts, channel lists. Its color is the level: grey, green, blue, violet, gold. A paid plan changes the color immediately after payment; when it ends – back to green or grey.

Payment, changes, cancellation
- Paid by card through Stripe; the plan activates immediately after payment. Yearly – up to 30% cheaper.
- Upgrading, Stripe prorates and charges only the difference.
- After cancelling – membership and every right stay until the paid period ends; then the checkmark returns to green or grey and links to nofollow.
- Card, invoices and cancellation – in the Stripe portal from account settings. Partner gets a VAT invoice every cycle.
Frequently asked
What does the checkmark next to a name mean?
- It is 77.lt's only mark and its color is the level: grey – member, not yet verified; green – verified author; blue – Pro; violet – VIP; gold – Partner; a smiley – parody account.
- Buying a plan buys exactly the checkmark color – there is no separate badge.
How do I get the green checkmark for free?
- Link a social account on your profile and publish at least 2 articles – green is granted automatically.
- Blue, violet and gold come only with the Pro / VIP / Partner plan.
What is dofollow and why does it matter?
- A nofollow (ugc) link tells search engines not to follow it – it passes no weight to your page. A dofollow link does.
- Pro, VIP and Partner get dofollow for non-commercial anchors; commercial anchors are always rel="sponsored" (Google's rules). Checked at render time – when a membership ends links turn nofollow automatically.
How is the article quota counted?
- The quota is how many articles you can submit to the council per calendar month. It resets at the start of the month; unused quota doesn't carry over.
- An article returned by the council and resubmitted doesn't use quota twice.
How does the Facebook pitch work?
- Pro, VIP and Partner can pitch an article to the 77.lt Facebook page (540,000+ followers). The pitch goes to the editorial planner, which picks the time and wording.
- A pitch isn't a guarantee – an unsuitable article may not be posted, the quota is still used.
What is priority DAO council review?
- The council reviews in order. VIP articles are reviewed within 48h, Partner within 24h. The decision and rules are the same for everyone – only the queue changes.
What happens when I change plans mid-month?
- Up – Stripe prorates immediately and charges the difference, the new quota applies right away.
- Down or cancelling – the current plan stays active until the paid period ends.
Can I cancel any time? Do my articles stay?
- Yes, one click in account settings (the Stripe portal), no fees.
- Every published article stays. When the period ends only the new-article quota, link dofollow status and checkmark color change.
Does the Partner plan come with an invoice?
- Yes – a VAT invoice is generated every billing cycle and sent to your company e-mail. You add authors to the company account yourself, up to 5.
Does membership change how articles are judged?
- No. Voters never see the plan. Membership changes quota, link rights, distribution and queue – not the decision. The whole pipeline is on the Liability page.
